ASIA AWARDS Young Creator Exhibition (Design)
ASIA AWARDS is a comprehensive creative award that has been established to discover and support young talents and become a platform for them to make their strides to the global stage.
In the Fashion category, unique works made by young creators under 30 years old are exhibited under the theme of "INTERACTIVE". The works will be reviewed by a group of professional judges, including renowned fashion journalist Yoshiko Ikoma. Those who pass the first screening will be able exhibit their works to the 110,000 visitors in TOKYO DESIGN WEEK and the creator who wins the Grand-Prix, will be able to exhibit in MILAN0 SALONE 2016. Enjoy the diverse "INTERACTIVE" works expressed by different young creators.

Yoshiko Ikoma(Fashion Journalist)
Yoshiko Ikoma is an independent fashion journalist. After graduating from Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, she wrote articles to Japanese fashion magazines and also news papers. Her interest in fashion let her become one of the members of initial edition of Japanese version VOGUE, deputy editor in chief of ELLE Japan and editor in chief of marie claire. She became an independent fashion journalist in 2008, and is actively working as a freelance journalist and an editor by giving lectures and creating projects centered on fashion, art and lifestyle. She launched a new project called "WAO" to introduce traditional Japanese crafts as a part of project of Cool Japan promoted by Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. The exhibition of "WAO" in New York and Paris in 2002 had great success.

Kyoko Fushimi(Fashion Director)
After finishing the evening fashion course at ESMOD JAPON, Fushimi first worked as stylist for a Japanese magazine "an an" and later became fashion director for a magazine Hearst Fujingaho at Elle Japon. After studying in Paris, she turned freelance fashion director and worked for various musicians, fashion magazines and more. In 2004 and 2005, she produced stage costumes for Parco Theater. In 2012, Fushimi worked for the Paris Collection of Issey Miyake. Currently Fushimi is working on a project "Happening" for A/W.

Mikio Sakabe(Fashion Designer)
Born 1976 March 19th.Graduated from the Fashion Department, Royal Academy of Fine Arts in 2006.To propose and dispatch new gender from Tokyo to the World.

Yoshikazu Yamagata(Fashion Designer)
Though variety of projects based on fashion, Yamagata express his spirit freely as personal projects.
coconogacco:
coconogacco is a small fashion school which Yamagata has established, and where he teaches. Coco means being here, and means individuality. He wished to create a new school where students can feel fashion with free spirit and to learn how to design, by his experience of teaching various fashion schools and universities.

Misha Janette(Fashion Director、Journalist)
Misha is lead fashion writer for The Japan Times newspaper, and contributes to publications such as Numero Tokyo, Vogue girl Japan, SOEN, Kyodo News, The Guardian UK, Syndey Morning Herald, Wallpaper*, and many others. She has styled for a number of Japanese musicians, and most recently Nicki Minaj for costumes for her first world tour "Roman Reloaded" while styling other fantastical editorials that reflect her own edgy-cum-pop taste. This fashion blog shot to the top of the ranks in Japan thanks to its features on avant garde Japanese and global designers, street wear and other artists in three languages: English, Japanese and Chinese. Now she embarks on new journeys as a TV & radio host, and DJ at top fashion parties. She is also designer of the world's first high-fashion accessory wig brand Plumb since June 2012, working from her studio in Tokyo.
